The Lion d’Or – Gouzon

The food for either lunch or dinner is excellent with 3 course menus available at reasonable prices. The ambience of the restaurant is lovely and the service very good. Make sure you leave room for dessert at this restaurant - they are huge and the selection is fantastic! A children's menu is available.

Moulin Noye – Glenic

This restaurant overlooks a gorge of the River Creuse and in Summer you can either sit inside (by a window overlooking the gorge) or outside on the terrace. Again the food is excellent and the service very good, with a choice of several set menus at different prices or the A La Carte menu. There is a children’s menu also.

Les Templiers – Jarnages

This restaurant is part of the hotel in the centre of Jarnage. The food is very good, as is the service. In Summer you can have an aperitif outside first before moving inside for your meal.

The Buffalo Grill in Gueret provides good value steak dinners and other alternative meals, with a childrens menu and play area, and is open all day.
An excellent meal and ambience can be found in the centre of Gueret on the Place Bonnyaude, at the La Belle Epoque.
Gueret has many good French restaurants, but for those who prefer something different you can also find Chinese, Indian, and Pizza restaurants and an Irish Pub.
